The workshop took place 6-8 February at the Udruga PaRiter offices in Rijeka, Croatia, and consisted of exercises to generate ideas on what to consider in the preparation of the game, during the game, and in the follow-up phase – elements that will ensure a rewarding game experience! The game will consist of questions on the journeys of inspiring women, including Lola Mansour, a Belgian judoka, writer and feminist activist who was able to join the workshop, share her views on women in high-level sport and energize the partnership with judo exercises!
The halfway point of the JOIN THE GAME project is approaching and so far the partners have created and tested a prototype urban game that contains instructions for the game animator, players, a series of questions about women who have accomplished extraordinary feats in their careers, and a cheat sheet for creating safe spaces. The partnership is currently working on a guide for adapting the game to different target groups, as well as the aforementioned toolkit, which contains tips for playing the game. The final stages of the project will include the creation of video interviews with inspiring women from all partner countries and the dissemination of the results.
